Youth League

By God's Grace, the Youth Group grew substantially in 2007.   The year was exciting primarily because many of our youths took steps toward leadership in the Youth Group.  Many of us were encouraged by the Youths willingness to learn and study scripture and their commitment to serve the church and youth group.  We were blessed with the youths' initiative, for example a Creative Presentations Team was created. 

The Youth Group has grown spiritually through Youth Meetings, Friday Prayer Meetings and the community service efforts.  Many of the youths, both young and old took ACTIVE roles in the leadership and responsibilities for the year.   Their enthusiasm has helped to strengthen the youth group and we are very excited to start 2008.

2008 will be an exciting year for the Youth Group.   We look forward to serving the church through Friday Night Sings, Youth Meetings, and assisting in various church functions.  We are excited to serve our community through different service events with the assistance of the CDC, a local community outreach program.  In addition, we look forward to hosting the 2008 National Youth Conference and the 2008 Regional Youth Conference.  Above all else, we want to GROW closer to our LORD each day.

We kindly ask that all parish members uphold the Youth Group in prayer.
