Youth League

By God's Grace, the Youth Group was very active in 2008.   The year was blessed with the responsibility of leading the National Youth Conference and the Midwestern Regional Youth Conference. Because of both Conferences, the youth of our church were able to grow spiritually and help serve the diocese as well. We were extremely blessed by the willingness of the church to support the National Youth Conference. Because of the love of our parish, we were able to run both conferences successfully and without deficit.   The Youth Group has grown spiritually through Youth Meetings, Friday Prayer Meetings and the community service efforts.  Many of the youth, both young and old took ACTIVE roles in the leadership and responsibilities for the year.   Their enthusiasm has helped to strengthen the youth group and we are very excited to start 2009.  2009 will be an exciting year for the Youth Group.   We look forward to serving the church through Friday Night Sings, Youth Meetings, and assisting in various church functions.  We are excited to serve our community through different service events with the assistance of the CDC, a local community outreach program.  In addition, this year we have four new members to the committee, Ruby Varghese, Tessy Samuel, Elsa Varghese and Abin Varghese will take over various roles in the Youth Group Executive Committee. We would like to thank Jaisen Paul, Libu George and Susan George for their service on the committee in 2008. We kindly ask that all parish members uphold the Youth Group in prayer.
